Docent Reception

We just had our Docent Reception for 2008 on Sunday October 26th to say "Thank You" to our volunteers. Their help, time and ideas are very much appreciated. We had about 45 in attendance. What are your thoughts on our volunteers?

Local Schools Visit

Our local schools have had a number of visits to the museum. Their response has been that they love what we have. The kids love the displays and stories. We love having groups visit the museum. Some groups have included local scout troops.

Holiday of Trees

The Holiday of Trees is an annual event we host as a fun event and fund raiser for the museum. Local organizations and people sponsor and decorate the trees, visitors vote on their favorite, and we award prizes for the favorite trees. Each tree is auctioned off, benefiting the museum's operating budget. We also have several raffle items to add to the fun.
